Warning light V16 (Spain)

As soon as you activate the light and mount it on your vehicle, it sends your location and status via the built-in GPS and SIM card to DGT 3.0, Spain’s official traffic platform. You must be registered for this to work.
This information is shared with other road users via navigation systems, variable message signs, and apps, so that they can anticipate a stationary vehicle in time.
Mandatory for Spaniards, it is highly recommended for foreigners visiting Spain.

The signal works only within Spain, possibly with limited coverage in border regions. Naturally, the flashing light functions as a hazard light everywhere. Only registered lights are permitted on Spanish roads. The registration of this light is valid until the end of 2038.
The warning light is supplied in a storage case. Battery included.

Please note: this is a signaling system and not an emergency call.
Emergency services are only activated if you contact, for example, 112 or the ANWB yourself.
In some cases, such as at dangerous locations or traffic jams, DGT may activate active road management, similar to Rijkswaterstaat in the Netherlands.
